Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 23 October 2026
1. How to ask
Either route works, and both are handled by the same person.
- On WhatsApp
- Send DELETE MY DATA to the WhatsApp number you use to talk to us.
- By email
- Email us with the subject “Data deletion request” at the address on our contact page.
What to tell us
- Your shop's name.
- The WhatsApp number your shop uses with us.
- Whether you want everything deleted, or only the data connected to your Meta accounts (section 4).
We may ask one question to confirm it is really you before we delete anything — deletion cannot be undone, so we would rather check.
2. How long it takes
- Within 72 hours
- We acknowledge your request and tell you exactly what will be deleted.
- Within 30 days
- The deletion is complete, including from our backups as they rotate, and we send you a written confirmation.
3. What gets deleted
- Your shop profile: business name, address, brand details, logo, settings and preferences.
- Every photo and video you sent us, and every creative, caption, reel, catalogue and invoice draft we produced from them.
- Your customer records: names, phone numbers, purchase and register entries, birthdays, anniversaries and consent records.
- Your chat history with us and the record of what each agent did on your account.
- Your connected platform data: access tokens, page and account identifiers, and the insight figures we stored.
4. Deleting your Meta, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook data
If you only want us to stop holding data connected to your Meta accounts, and otherwise keep your subscription, say so and we will do exactly that. There are two sides to it, and you can do both.
What we delete on our side
- The access tokens that let us publish to your Instagram and Facebook, deleted and revoked with Meta.
- Your Facebook Page and Instagram professional account identifiers.
- The insight figures we stored — reach, views, engagement, follower counts — and any advertising campaign results.
- The WhatsApp messages between your shop and us, and, where the Enquiry Desk is in use, the customer conversations we held for you.
What you can do on Meta's side
You can also remove our access yourself, without asking us. In the Facebook account that manages your Page, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, find Hypershots and remove it. That immediately stops us from publishing or reading anything on your accounts. Doing it this way does not by itself delete what we already stored, so send us the deletion request as well.
Posts that are already published
Posts and reels we published stay on your own Instagram and Facebook accounts and remain under your control. If you want them taken down, tell us before you revoke our access — once access is removed we can no longer delete them for you, and you would have to remove them yourself.
5. What we have to keep
Two things survive a deletion request, and only these two:
- Invoices and payment records. Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep records of money we received. We keep only the invoice itself — business name, amount, date, GST — for as long as the law requires.
- The deletion record. A note that you asked, what we deleted and when, so we can prove we did it. It contains no customer data.
6. If you are a customer of a jewellery shop
If a jeweller using our service holds your details and you want them removed, you can contact us directly and we will act on it. The shop is the owner of that data, so we will also tell them that you asked. You do not need to go through the shop first.
To stop marketing messages without deleting anything else, reply STOP to any message from the shop and we will record the opt-out immediately.
7. Questions
Our Privacy Policy explains what we hold and why. If you are unhappy with how we handled a deletion request, the grievance officer details are in section 11 of that policy.
